Annual Dinner Dinner & AGM
was held on Friday May 14th 2010
at the Drummond Arms Hotel Albury
83rd OBA Social Day
Following our most enjoyable outing along the Regents Canal in June
we
have pleasure to announce details of our second 83rd OBA Social Day.
Thames to Greenwich and beyond.
Monday 23rd
August 2010
Meet at the Thames River Services Ticket Office – Westminster Pier – between
11.00 and 11.15
to catch the 11.30 boat going
to Greenwich via the Thames Barrier.
The
single fare would be £11.00 less 30% if you have a valid Travel Card
Travel
time to Greenwich is approx one hour with additional time to be added for the
round trip back to Greenwich
from viewing the Thames Barrier.
This
should take us onto lunch which may be taken at any one of the many local
“watering holes” or
Messrs Wetherspoon’s “The Gate Clock” in nearby Creek Road.
There
is so much to see and do in “Greenwich and Beyond”
however a good lunch will help us to agree the afternoons programmed
before
returning home via the DLR
